Mast Marathi is a Quick Serve Restaurant that serves Maharashtrian Vegetarian food, in a traditional yet quirky and lively ambience. We serve nostalgic and most loved foods handpicked from Various parts of Maharashtra. The Foods we serve are prepared in an authentic style with the blend of authentic Maharashtrian Masala which suits the palate of people from all over India.
Our menu includes the food which is rich is taste and free of colour, additives and preservatives so that the customers can enjoy it every day. It is hygienically cooked fresh each day and nothing is deep-frozen. Hence it is light not only on the pocket but also on the tummy.
Well, we have just launched our first outlet of Mast Marathi @ HSR – Bangalore with a vision to open many more branches in Bangalore and across India.
Story of Swati and Shekar

Our story sounds like roller coaster ride. Both working in the IT sector had passion to do something in F&B Industry started a restaurant called Mast Marathi, serving authentic Maharashtrian food.
We (Swati S Kaviraj & Somashekarachari) were working with a large corporate firm in the IT industry. We were doing very well for ourselves. We were in position where we couldn’t have asked for more as far as a good career was concerned. But then, we always wanted to do something of our own right from the early days.
Many thoughts started floating in when we decided to be an Entrepreneur. We started experimenting with a couple of ideas and eventually, settled upon the quick service restaurant. Respect, passion and liking towards Maharashtrian culture and its food was the reason for this concept of Mast Marathi restaurant. Also, we always felt the need for this type of food format.
Being newbies in this Industry, we are facing lot of challenges. We are doing typical Start up mistakes, learning, moving ahead and succeeding. Our priorities right now is to do zero compromise on quality of food we serve.
