I am Swati, and along with my husband Shekar, this is our journey.
Growing up in Chandrapur (MH), Maharashtrian food was never a cuisine for me — it was an emotion. Cooking and sharing meals have always been my natural joy.
After moving to Bengaluru for higher studies, I met Shekar, a proud Kannadiga and an enthusiastic food lover. We were well settled in our corporate careers.
But something always felt missing — a sense of purpose.
With deep passion and strong belief, together, we took a leap of faith.
In 2019, we started Mast Marathi with one simple intention - to serve real, homely, traditional Maharashtrian flavours, with no shortcuts and no compromise.
Though new to the F&B industry, our conviction was unwavering. With the support of our Family, Team, and Customers, we continue to grow.
Today, it is more than a restaurant, it is a place of comfort, nostalgia, and soulful meals.

Somashekarachari P - Co-Founder: Somashekarachari P, a passionate food enthusiast from Karnataka, is the Co-Founder of Mast Marathi Restaurant. With a deep love for authentic food and a vision to bring the rich flavors of Maharashtra to Bangalore, Somashekarachari played a key role in establishing the restaurant and making it a beloved destination for food lovers.
His expertise in operations, allowing him to ensure the smooth running and growth of Mast Marathi. Driven by his enthusiasm for food and dedication to excellence, Somashekarachari’s leadership has been integral in shaping Mast Marathi into a thriving restaurant that celebrates the authentic taste of Maharashtra in the heart of Bangalore.
